I had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Dayton Restaurant Depot. The older lady with white hair at the front desk was extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful from the moment I approached the counter. She acted as if customers were bothering her instead of doing her job. When I politely asked for her name, she refused to provide it. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, and she simply told me, “We don’t have one.” That response was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way. If someone doesn’t want to help customers or cannot treat people with basic respect, they should not be working at the front desk. Management seriously needs to address the attitude and professionalism of their front desk staff. This experience left a terrible impression, and I hope no other customer has to deal with the same treatment.

We visited Restaurant Depot at approximately 6:00 PM on July 9, 2026 and the older woman working at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her attitude toward us was so shocking that we decided to leave without shopping. I’ve never been treated so poorly by an employee. After reading other reviews describing similar experiences, it’s disappointing to see that this behavior appears to be ongoing. If management sees this review, I would appreciate a reply with a corporate phone number or email address so I can report my experience. This level of customer service is unacceptable and should be addressed.

DONT SHOP HERE DONT SHOP HERE DONT SHOP HERE……..The old lady in the front is extremely rude.You guys are going to miss out on a lot of business because of her. I looked thorough the reviews and I see I’m not the only one who has had a problem with her SMH, just rude for no reasons at all.She’s making you guys business look Extremely bad.Hire more happy smiling face people who loves their job and not people like her who hates their job.I will not be shopping with you guys anymore.That was my first and my last.If do decide to come back there and shop,hopefully she’s not the one in the front again greeting me she needs to be far away from customer service.I WILL MAKE THIS KNOW TO OTHERS THINKING ABOUT SHOPPING HERE IN THE FUTURE

Now i know why they have good reviews! I called and asked if they have halal chicken and they confirmed with me and i drove from Cincinnati, it’s really way better than the one down in Cincinnati by far, I couldn’t believe it’s restaurant depot!! It looks way better and clean and more organized, the display is better also so you can really look and see what they offer.
